Nelson Pari (MMus) is a passionate Italian, who loves his Gibson Les Paul electric guitar as much as his Conterno Barolo. He is a senior sommelier at London’s first and foremost wine Club 67 Pall Mall and studied jazz guitar at Trinity Laban. Much has been written about the affect of music on how we eat and drink – there are professional consultants employed by Michelin starred restaurants solely for that reason – and Nelson has been creating his own unique music and wine events for members at 67. As he puts it “15 years of giggin’ have taught me that when people are screaming for one more at the end, it’s worked”, though it’s unclear whether that’s a song or a wine.

We joined Nelson Pari for a journey through the most famous pairings created by critics and wine experts alike, such as Tim Atkin MW and Paolo Scarpellini with music from Debussy to the Beatles.
