On Thursday 29th October members of the Cambridge Society enjoyed a virtual tour of some of the lovely secret gardens hidden in the City of London and of the beautiful Kensington Gardens, led by Blue Badge Tourist Guide Caroline Piper. As the autumn evenings draw in it was a great way to immerse ourselves in the beauty and calm of nature, whilst admiring some stunning old and modern architecture and learning a little bit of history along the way. Caroline hopes it gave attendees some ideas for places to visit and take friends in London, whilst complying with tier 2 restrictions. It was a great alternative way to explore London!
