We spent Easter Saturday and the first properly sunny day of the year enjoying glorious views from our private room overlooking the start of the boat races.
Before the boat race action began we reunited with old friends and made new ones over drinks followed by a three course meal, fuelling up for the excitement ahead. Following this, we witnessed first-hand from our windows both our women and then later our men in light blue falling slightly behind over the first stretch of the course. Turning to our television screen we watched the remainder of each exciting race, complete with oar clashes, followed by our crew pulling ahead of our rivals midway and completing resounding victories in both races. With over 50 of us in attendance and our own private bar, we had little difficulty in celebrating triumphantly.
