This was the second evening held at the Coningsby Gallery in Tottenham St, a minute from Goodge St station, and again it was very enjoyable. Some 45 of us gathered in the most informal way for drinks, sandwiches and exotic nibbles to view a selection of the remarkable works collected by Henry Miller and now displayed for sale. The atmosphere in this relatively small Gallery is perfect for art appreciation and also for the friendly socialising and networking that characterises so many of our events. We owe a great debt to Andrew Coningsby for allowing us to get together in his gallery – and for helping with the washing up and for storing our unopened bottles for the next Society event there! By popular request this is going to be a regular number in our annual Programme.
