What Happened in the Drawing Room…

… shall largely remain in the Drawing Room. We held our fourth Singles Evening at the British Film Institute in their elegant private venue known simply as ‘The Drawing Room’. Once again some sparks were in evidence as more than sixty members packed into the room and became familiar with one another with the help of some tasteful ice-breaking activities. We will no doubt discover over the coming months and years the sustainability of the electricity that was generated on the evening.

As ever, it would not have been possible without such a wonderful team of volunteers. Marc Cardle did sterling work with decorations, chocolate arranging and manning the door, while Sarah Sarkhel and Celyn Brazier made superb contributions as bouncers, welcomers and team communicators. Richard Tandoh and Helen Liu were ideal as the host and hostess of the games.
