Our special High Quality, High Impact, High Level (thirty floors up over Canary Wharf) Networking Evening was, as always, a most enjoyable and successful event. Clifford Chance provided their customary and very generous hospitality and those attending, from all walks of life and with a wide range of interests, made numerous contacts and no doubt a number of new friends. This was made much easier by the central session in which everyone had the chance to talk about him/herself for sixty seconds under the stern (in fact rather lenient) control of our bell-ringing Chairman. Contact details of all were later distributed, and thereby “our Cambridge Community in London” became so much closer and more self-supportive. Clifford Chance is a first class, spectacular venue and we’re most grateful to them; if any Society members can offer similarly impressive facilities do let us know.
