The CamSocLon day at the 2025 Varsity Match was greatly enjoyed by the 23 who attended, whose matriculation years spanned more than five decades. Plenty of good food, beer and wine were consumed and everyone enjoyed the wonderful spring sunshine and thrilling rugby. While there was disappointment in the easy win for Oxford in the Women’s match, the men provided a brilliant come-from-behind victory in an exhilarating match. The StoneX Stadium is home to Saracens RFC and also showcases some of the wonderful sporting memorabilia from The Priory Collection compiled over several decades by former Saracens owner Nigel Wray. Thanks to our member and host for the day, Nick Priestnall, members were privileged not only to get a tour by one of the curators but also were each given copies of the beautiful book of the collection which will be great mementoes of the day. It was good to see so many new faces at their first CamSocLon event.
